The proposed project consists of improvements to the wastewater plant, including:
  • Upgrading of the grid removal system
  • Demolishing the old imhoff tank
  • Upgrading the lab where the old imhoff tank used to be
  • Installing a backup diesel generator
  • Paving caliche inside the wastewater plant.

The project is to include, but is not limited to:
  • Upgrading the 400,000 gallons elevated tank to meet TCEQ requirements
  • Upgrading inside the 700,000 gallon ground tank to increase efficiency of contact time
  • Upgrading the clear well pump and motor
  • Upgrading two pumps / motors (decant and pools)
  • Adding concrete on decant ponds foundations
  • Upgrading two automotive valves and timers
  • Upgrading and/or replacing backup diesel driven generator for water plant
  • Addressing 24" fill (6630 if gate)
  • Installing a new 24" distribution line (120 if 4 x 4 wells, gate) wastewater treatment plant.
  • Improving the influent lift station to meet flow requirements
  • Purchasing 250 water meters
