We will be starting our 2012 Colonia Clean Up Program once again! Commissioner Quintanilla and staff are working diligently to continue keeping our colonias and precinct clean. Remember keeping your property clean can make a difference during Hurricane Season. Please sort all unwanted items and place them near the curb of your property for collection.

Commissioner Quintanilla is declaring a Neighborhood Clean Up Day at Sun Grove Park Subdivision. Precinct 1 Staff will be assisting the neighborhood and cleaning the area. Please participate and take advantage of this free service. Acceptable items are old appliances, brush, construction debris and tires. Please sort all unwanted items and place them near curb of your property for collection. Remember, keeping your property clean can make a difference during Hurricane Season.

The General Land Office (GLO) has scheduled a Round 2 Builder’s Conference on February 28th at 9:30 a.m., in Weslaco City Hall. This will be an opportunity for Building Contractors to learn of Section 3 requirements for the next round of funding and provide the opportunity for attendees to ask questions of the GLO.
